BDA Rwanda – Mountain Coffee is a proudly Rwandan coffee company rooted in the rich volcanic highlands of Rwanda. We specialize in sourcing, processing, and exporting Fresh avocados for salad, premium-grade Arabica coffee, cultivated with care and sustainability by dedicated smallholder farmers.

Based in Kigali, we work closely with farming cooperatives and local communities to ensure traceability, ethical sourcing, and outstanding quality in every bean. Our coffee is a reflection of Rwanda’s unique terroir – bright, flavorful, and unforgettable.

Our Story

Founded in 2014, BDA Rwanda began as an exporter of potatoes, tea, and coffee, with a strong focus on the Qatari market. Following the 2022 FIFA World Cup and shifting regional demand, we streamlined our focus in 2024 to specialize in tea, avocado, and coffee – our core strengths.

In September 2024, we proudly expanded our reach by acquiring new clients in Europe and the United States, while continuing strong partnerships with several major hypermarkets in the Arab world.

We operate our own processing facility, managing nearly the entire value chain — from harvest to export — ensuring consistent quality and efficiency. For avocado, we work under formal Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with several local cooperatives who supply us with high-quality fruit.

All our products meet the regulatory standards set by Rwandan institutions, and our packaging is fully approved by the Rwanda Bureau of Standards (RSB).
